The NFL has confirmed the schedule for ‘Super Wild Card Weekend’, with the NFL playoffs kicking off in Houston with the Texans vs. the Browns.

On Saturday night, defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will host either the Bills, the Dolphins or the Steelers at Arrowhead Stadium.

If tonight’s Bills-Dolphins game ends in a tie, Buffalo will face Kansas City. A Bills win will see Miami travel to face the Chiefs. If Miami wins, the Steelers will be the No 6 seed and face Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs.

The AFC’s No 2 seed, which will be the winner of the Dolphins-Bills game, will host the conference’s No 7 seed.

If the Dolphins win, the Bills will travel for the second straight week to Hard Rock Stadium to face Miami.

The Detroit Lions will play at home in the postseason next Sunday for the first time since 1993

If the Bills win, they’ll avoid a rematch against the Dolphins and host Miami instead.

Then, on Sunday afternoon, the Cowboys take on the Packers, with Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy facing the team he coached from 2006-18.

In the Sunday night game, the Lions host the Rams in Detroit’s first home playoff game since the 1993 season.

The opening weekend of the postseason will conclude with the Eagles at the Buccaneers on Monday night.

Philadelphia enters the postseason in crisis, having lost five of its last six games after starting the season 10-1.
