  • DailyMail.com provides all the latest international sports news

In news which shall surprise no one, the Dallas Cowboys still sit firmly atop the Forbes list of most valuable NFL franchises.

America’s Team is not only the most prized possession in pro football but in all sports across North America, and astonishingly, the globe.

Jerry Jones’ franchise is worth $9billion according to the outlet and generated a whopping $1.14b in revenue through the 2020 season.

For context, the average NFL team is worth $5.1billion — a new high, per the Forbes report. The Cowboys haven’t won the Super Bowl since 1995.

The NFL’s second most valuable team is the New England Patriots, which is unsurprising given their two-decade dynasty beginning in the early 2000s.

The very marketable Dak Prescott is the face of the Dallas Cowboys – a team worth $9billion

Stan Kroenke’s Rams sit just behind in third ($6.9b), and the blue-blood New York Giants franchise ($6.8b) closely follow at No. 4. Chicago comes in at No. 5 valued at $6.3b

Despite its recent team success with Joe Burrow and Co., the Cincinnati Bengals are the least valuable asset at $3.5b.

The Detroit Lions ($3.6b), Buffalo Bills ($3.7b), Arizona Cardinals ($3.8b) and Jacksonville Jaguars ($4b) round out the bottom five.

Tennessee were the biggest improvers with regard to value attributed to the franchise, rising by 26%.

Miami (24%), Las Vegas (22%), Cleveland (20%) and Baltimore (19%) were the next best increases in valuation.

The Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, come in at a value of $4.3billion.
