Two NHL players have reportedly been arrested for assaulting a friend at their home in Manhattan after a night out.
Anthony-John ‘AJ’ Greer, 22, of the Colorado Avalanche and Frank ‘Sonny’ Milano, 23, of the Columbus Blue Jackets were charged with third-degree assault in connection with the incident early Sunday morning, a police source told DailyMail.com.
The altercation allegedly occurred at an apartment on W Houston St in Greenwich Village, listed as the players’ address, and is believed to have been over a nightclub bill at 1 Oak in Chelsea.
The 28-year-old victim, who has not been named and is not a hockey player, called police at 5.30am and said the two players had repeatedly punched and kicked him after he complained about the bill.
He reportedly refused medical attention but appeared to have suffered injuries to his jaw and torso along with visible scrapes and bruises.

Greer and Milano were taken to Manhattan’s 6th Precinct and were later released on a desk appearance ticket.
Greer is an ice hockey forward from Joliet, Canada, who was drafted to the Avalanche in the second round in 2015.
He made his rookie debut with the San Antonio Rampage, an affiliate team, before rejoining the Avalanche in 2016.
Milano is also an ice hockey forward from Massapequa, New York, who was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the first round in 2014.
He played three games during the 2015-2016 season before being sent down to the Cleveland Monsters, an affiliate team. He was recalled by the Blue Jackets in December 2017.
It is unclear how Greer and Milano know each other or why they share an apartment in Manhattan, given that their teams are in Denver and Columbus.
