What followed was an awkward exchange which left Niall labelling one of the interviewers as ‘condescending’.
‘The condescending behaviour, to be honest, was a bit much,’ the Irish heartthrob said after the interview.
‘I’ll probably see you (Pete) next time, if you don’t get sacked because Pedro’s about to take your job.’
The pair were often heard talking over the top of each other as they attempted to ask the former boyband star questions.

Niall’s publicist eventually asked Pedro and Pete to wrap the interview up, before they left things on a rather awkward note.

‘Not really, no,’ responded Niall. ‘It was just really awkward.’
When reviewing the interview on KIIS 1065, Niall praised Pedro for his efforts but slammed Pete for his condescending attitude.
The Slow Hands star recently flew to Australia, where he performed at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday.
International star: Sunday night’s concert was the fourth leg of a worldwide tour, in which Niall will bring an intimate experience to 21 different cities
