Nick Cannon has done his best to make sure his family jewels are protected.

The entertainer, 43, who took out a $10 million insurance policy on his testicles, explained his reasoning in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

The Masked Singer producer was celebrating his son Legendary’s second birthday over the weekend when he spoke with the outlet. Cannon shares the tyke with Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi, 33.

‘I had to insure my most valuable assets,’ the father of 12 explained.

The Wild N Out star said he was not planning on having more children in the near future, but, ‘[I’m] just making sure nothing goes wrong.’

Tiesi, who has been dating The Misfits star on and off for several years, said the entrepreneur is a committed dad who always has time for his kids.

‘He manages it really well. I feel like that’s why no one ever hears anything because we’re all happy. We all make it work.’

In addition to Legendary, Cannon shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, 13, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

He is also dad to Golden, seven, Powerful, three, and Rise, one, with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion, three and daughter Beautiful, one, with Abby De La Rosa; Cannon shares Halo, one, and late son Zen, who died from brain cancer at five months in December 2022 with Alyssa Scott, and Onyx, one with model LaNisha Cole.

Cannon insured his testicles through a collaboration with soap and grooming company Dr. Squatch.

In an interview with People, the busy actor and producer said he prefers spending one-on-one time with his children, rather than gathering them all together at once.

‘I feel like qualitative experiences are when I can give everyone their own individual experience,’ he explained. ‘I actually love stepping into their world. Going to their sports games or giving them their personal time for the holidays. So I have no problem with bouncing around.’

‘I actually think it works a lot better [right now]. Because everyone’s busy, not just me,’ he told the outlet.

‘It works to be able to take the time trying to go to them and show the value of being with them and not forcing anyone to come to me,’ he contended.

Cannon offered praise for the women in his life, who have made having such a large family possible. ‘[It] wouldn’t work if I didn’t have such amazing women in my life that are truly understanding and super loving and compassionate about the world that we live in.’
