The Bachelor’s Nick Cummins breaks his silence as Brooke Blurton prepares to reveal his ‘shocking’ secret on Bachelor in Paradise
He has tried to distance himself from The Bachelor franchise in recent months.
But Nick Cummins was dragged back into the spotlight on Monday, when a trailer for Bachelor in Paradise season two was released.
Brooke Blurton, who walked out of Nick’s season before the finale last year, said in the teaser that she will no longer ‘protect’ him – and the former Wallaby appeared to respond to her claims on Tuesday night.

In a video shared to his Instagram Story, 31-year-old Nick filmed himself enjoying a late afternoon workout in a park.
He repeated the mantra, ‘Motion creates emotion’, suggesting that he is exercising to forget his troubles and achieve a more positive mindset.
Mysteriously, the video was deleted overnight – long before the 24-hour expiration period of Instagram Stories.
Spilling the tea! Brooke Blurton, who walked out of Nick’s season of The Bachelor before the finale last year, said in a Paradise teaser released this week that she will no longer ‘protect’ him
It comes after Channel 10 released a trailer for Bachelor in Paradise season two, in which Brooke teases an explosive bombshell about Nick.
The Perth-based youth worker is shown arriving at the luxury resort in Fiji and threatening to spill the beans on the ‘Honey Badger’.
While the 24-year-old doesn’t reveal Nick’s secret in the promo, she hints that there was more to her departure from The Bachelor than was shown on TV.
Whoops! ‘He told me not to tell anyone… He’s gonna hate me for this!’ Brooke said in the trailer
Surrounded by Cassandra Wood, Cat Henesy, and Alisha Aitken-Radburn, Brooke says: ‘I’ve protected him for this long… I don’t really want to have to protect Nick.’
While the women were all shocked by her revelation, Cassandra – who was eliminated from The Bachelor just before Brooke left – was the most blown away.
‘I was not expecting that at all,’ she says. ‘I was actually completely shocked.’
Brooke adds: ‘He told me not to tell anyone… He’s gonna hate me for this!’

Brooke made it to the final three on Nick’s season of The Bachelor.
However, she eliminated herself during the rose ceremony, claiming that she needed more assurance from Nick to stay.
Eventually, the former rugby star dumped both remaining contestants – Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman – in the finale, leaving the show single.
Bachelor in Paradise is set to return in the coming months.
The spin-off show will bring back some of the most memorable stars from the franchise, including Richie Strahan and Alex Nation.
