Nick Kyrgios fined for telling fan to ‘shut the f*** up’

Tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios has copped a $3,700 fine for telling a rowdy fan to ‘shut the f*** up’.

The outburst occurred during the 22-year-old’s crushing defeat of Brazilian Rogerio Dutra Silva at the Australian Open on Monday.

The world No. 17 interrupted his own serve to hurl abuse at the spectator, and later was later involved in a fiery exchange with the umpire.

‘Shut the f*** up then,’ Kyrgios can be heard saying before the umpire gives him a warning.

The umpire then asks spectators not to call out, and Kyrgios later demanded to know why he did not tell fans to be quiet earlier.

‘All you have to say is, “please do not speak when the player is serving” the first time,’ Kyrgios told the umpire.

‘I did,’ claimed the umpire, to which Kyrgios replied: ‘If you did it the first time he [the spectator] wouldn’t have done it the second time.’
