Nicki Minaj fans are out for vengeance, but they’re taking their anger out on the wrong people.

It all began when the Call of Duty star took to Twitter on August 23 and named the suspect that LA law enforcement investigators believe is behind several swatting attempts at the singer’s home.

‘Stephanie Bell A warrant is in the system,’ the 40-year-old hitmaker announced to her 80 million followers.

‘Great detective work. So grateful. The DA filed one count for the swatting call and one for the false report to DCFS. To God be the glory,’ she continued.

The BET Award winner seemed to be referring to the June incident when Bell allegedly made a false report to child welfare officials claiming that Nicki’s three-year-old son, whom she refers to as Papa Bear publicly, was being abused.

After officers arrived, they visited with the Good Form artist and her husband, Kenneth Petty, 51.

An examination of the tyke determined he was safe and healthy.

The family was awakened early the next morning, around 3 a.m., after another bogus call was made to 911, reporting a fire at the home.

When firefighters arrived, they found no flames.

It was quickly determined that the couple had been victims of ‘swatting.’

Nicki and her family were swatted again in late July after someone falsely reported a shooting at the Tukoh Taka artist’s palatial mansion.

It’s uncertain at this time if investigators believe Bell is connected with that.

Once Nicki released the name, lots of women named Stephanie Bell found themselves on the receiving end of a lot of anger from Nicki’s fans.

Another questioned ‘Why y’all still in my inbox?’

‘I have absolutely no idea what is happening to my Twitter,’ wrote yet another Stephanie Bell.

My only connection to Nicki is once I was in a French Connection in Vegas and tried on a coat and the sales associate told me Nicki wore it to court the day before.’

The woman concluded: ‘Of course I bought it right then, I still have it, and now we refer to the piece as “The Nicki.”‘
