The impressive collection was designed by Stacey who spoke with WWD before her fall presentation.
‘The whole theme of the show is American icons because I feel like we’re sort of looking at inspiration from Europe or other places for so long,’ said Stacey.
She explained the patriotic theme, ‘As an American designer that has been designing in New York for 20 years, I feel this moment right now where it has to be about America, about our country, about what the creatives in New York and in the United States bring to American fashion.’

Bendet designed by drawing inspiration from rock-‘n’-roll glam, 90s supermarkets, nostalgic snacks, road trips, skateboarding, denim, and iconic Warhol art.
The designer described her line saying, ‘Each of these sets is meant to represent America in a positive way because I think the country has been so tormented and divided – we’re always sort of bashing ourselves.’
She continued, ‘Let’s take a moment to celebrate the moment and show why America and American fashion is so globally relevant and cool.’
The latest collection featured cropped jackets, and baggy jeans, with striped and colored sportswear.
The designs combine playful tailoring with faux leather skirts and trench coats.
The jackets feature embellished, embroidered, and studded details and vegan leather.
In addition, there are a few opulent occasion dresses and coats.
