Nicola Peltz looks effortlessly chic in a black sundress  

Nicola Peltz looked effortlessly chic as she joined her husband Brooklyn Beckham for lunch at the famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, on Wednesday.

The actress, 27, wore a black sundress as she was helped off a boat alongside the son of David and Victoria, 23, before heading for a spot to eat during their honeymoon. 

The newlyweds were joined by Nicola’s brother Will Peltz and his girlfriend – the daughter of American music producer Quincy Jones, Kenya Kinski-Jones. 

Nicola teamed her pretty dress with a black and white cropped cardigan and boosted her height with gold wedges, while Brooklyn kindly carried her beach bag.  

Meanwhile Brooklyn stayed cool in a pair of loose white linen trousers and T-shirt for the sunny day out.

After the lunch they hopped back on board their boat with their friends and family and took in some of the coastal sights.

The pair have been joined by some of Nicola’s siblings for part of their European honeymoon which has also seen them travel to Portofino and St Tropez.

It comes as Nicola had admitted it wasn’t love at first sight with her husband – confessing the pair ‘didn’t get along’ and ‘didn’t click’. 

The couple were introduced five years ago, at which time they both had different partners and weren’t interested in getting to know one another.

Yet although they stayed in loose contact it wasn’t until a chance run-in in at Leonardo DiCaprio’s Halloween party in 2019 that the pair decided to give their romance a go. 

Nicola told Tatler magazine: ‘We didn’t get along, we just didn’t click… I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend.

‘We actually met up one time and went to dinner, and he was a friend but not a close friend. Then we ran into each other at a Halloween party two and a half years ago and I can’t tell you what happened but from then on we were inseparable.’

After two and half years of dating Brooklyn and Nicola then married in a lavish £3million ceremony at her family’s £103million estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in April.

While they may have let their romance blossom at a party, the duo prefer cosy nights in to going out, with Nicola quipping they’re like an ‘old married couple’, noting: ‘happy place is staying in, watching a show and being with our dogs.’

For now, their cosy nights at home will remain in the United States, with Nicola stressing the importance of being close to her family. 

While Brooklyn is arguably among the most famous British celebrity offspring, American Nicola is certainly no stranger to a life of wealth and fame, with her businessman father Nelson Peltz, 79, a former truck driver turned billionaire.
