Nicola Peltz has claimed her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham blanked her for days after offering to design her wedding dress as rumors of their family rift continue to spiral.
The heiress, 27, sported a stunning couture Valentino wedding dress to tie the knot to Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn, 23, in April – rather than a design by his mother.
Newlywed Nicola said she was thrilled at the prospect of wearing a dress by Victoria – but she claims the former Spice Girl, 48, blanked her for days before saying she wouldn’t be making the gown for her special day.
The devastating news left Nicola stumped – since her stylist Leslie Fremar and mother Claudia were also set to join the dream team to design the dress. The plan was shot down in a call between Victoria and Nicola’s mom.
In a sensational interview with Grazia USA, the 27-year-old revealed: ‘We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.’
Brooklyn made his position clear amid the family feud, dubbing beloved Nicola his ‘number one priority.’

Nicola attempted to set the record straight as she explained: ‘I was planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created.
‘I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story.’
Following the revelations from Victoria that she couldn’t make her daughter-in-law’s dress, Nicola recalled: ‘So, I spoke to my mom and Leslie, and I was like, “Well, unfortunately, this can’t happen, so what’s the next step?”
‘I’ve been a fan of Valentino and their couture for so long. I was really lucky to be able to travel to [the atelier] to try on the dress. That’s really what happened.’
The wedding dress drama was bolstered by the fact that Victoria not only wore her own dress design on the day – but four of her dearest friends and her own mother attended the nuptials wearing her designs.
Eva Longoria, Nadia Ferreria, Zanna Roberts Rassi, and Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Mia Regan all wore gorgeous VB gowns to Brooklyn and Nicola’s big day.
Describing Victoria and David as ‘great in-laws’, Nicola admitted that it ‘hurts my feelings’ to see reports claiming she ‘never planned’ to wear a dress by her mother-in-law.
The 27-year-old said: ‘It does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it’s just not the truth. It’s just a bit of a bummer when you’re like, “Oh, people think that,” but it’s just not true.’
And backing his wife, Brooklyn chimed in and explained that they ‘talk things through’ when rumors circulate, adding: ‘To be honest, my wife is obviously my first priority and I never want to see her upset ever.’
Lovebirds Nicola and Brooklyn tied the knot at their no-expense-spared ceremony earlier this year, held at the heiress’ lavish family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Brooklyn is the eldest of Victoria and David’s brood, with the long-standing couple also sharing 20-year-old Romeo, Cruz, 17 and Harper Seven, 11.
The family of six are famously very close knit, with Victoria and her photographer-turned-chef son historically sharing a close relationship.
But with reports of a rift between Nicola and Victoria reportedly driving a wedge between the Beckham’s and their eldest son – the wedding dress fiasco appears to have only been the beginning.
Nicola was allegedly offended when David and Victoria’s close friend Marc Anthony gave a gushing speech at her wedding – all about Victoria, according to one insider.
‘It was totally just an ode to Victoria and how awesome she is. Nicola loves to be the center of attention, especially on her wedding day. So this really, really p***ed her off,’ the source said.

Another source agreed Nicola was upset during the reception – but said it wasn’t because Anthony was gushing about Victoria.
This insider claimed that Posh Spice stole the newlyweds’ First Dance song for her own mother-son dance moments before Brooklyn and Nicola were meant to two-step in front of their guests.
The First Dance song was Anthony’s ‘You Sang To Me’. The romantic love song includes the lyrics ‘Now I’m crazy for your love’, ‘When I called you late last night you see I was falling into love’ and ‘Girl, I live for how you make me feel’.
A source at the wedding told DailyMail.com: ‘Marc asked Nicola and Brooklyn to pick their favorite song to dedicate to them, and that one was their favorite.

‘But without any warning and at the request of Victoria, Marc switched it to a mother-son dance using the same song.
‘Most of the guests could tell something off had happened. It was uncomfortable for the couple who were thinking it was to be a special moment for them.’
And friends say Victoria is deeply upset that Brooklyn did not join the Beckham family holiday this summer, which saw them travel across Europe on a lavish yacht.
Instead, youngest son Cruz, 17, took his girlfriend Tana Holding for the duration of the trip, while Romeo joined them in Miami when his footballing commitments allowed him to.
