Boy Erased is based on the memoir by Garrard Conley.
The film follows Jared Eamons, the son of a Baptist preacher, who is forced to enter conversion therapy after his sexual orientation is revealed to his parents.
Kidman plays Jared’s mother, who comes to accept her son despite her husband’s religious viewpoints.
