Nicole Kidman looks thinner than ever after previously sparking concern over ‘incredibly skinny’ appearance

Nicole Kidman appeared thinner than ever at the season two premiere of Special Ops: Lioness in Los Angeles on Wednesday October 23.

The actress, 57, who teared up as she wished her late mother could have been there, continued to cause concern with her increasingly frail appearance. 

The Oscar-winning star displayed her shock weight loss on the red carpet, putting on a daring display as she modelled a backless, cowl-neck top and a bright yellow midi skirt with whimsical, dramatic pleats.

The look showed off her very slender frame, including her torso, in which her ribs were clearly visible.

Later in the evening, the A-lister later bundled up in a black tuxedo jacket as she posed for photos with her costars, including Morgan Freeman. 

A month later, RadarOnline.com claimed she’s been ‘secretly struggling and doing her best to hide it.’

One witness reported the star looked ‘incredibly skinny’ on the set of Babygirl in New York City last year.

‘People are whispering how boney she is,’ the outlet reported. ‘Everyone wants to know what’s wrong with her.’

The source alleged that Kidman ‘has been working herself ragged’ and all her projects were starting to take ‘a toll’ on her.

The actress’ busy schedule includes Lioness as well as Netflix projects A Family Affair and The Perfect Couple and her upcoming film Baby Girl. 

She also stars in the upcoming Holland, Michigan and season two of Nine Perfect Strangers.

Kidman is also playing the title role in Scarpetta, new Amazon series based on Patricia Cornwell’s mystery books and co-starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana DeBose.

‘Part of my path in life is learning not to be so overly empathetic with people that it destroys me or sabotages me, because I can move into other people’s skin and psyche in a very weird way. It’s almost like a pull,’ she  L’Officiel for its September edition.

‘I can physically manifest it and emotionally manifest it. It can be very, very frightening at times.’

The actress also said she realizes the need for self-care, but likes to use her star-power to help others.

‘In this weird way, there are so many opportunities in terms of being able to be of service to the people who are coming up and using what I have and can do for people like Helena [Reijn],’ she told Variety, referring to the Babygirl writer and director.’

In December 2023, a nutrition expert told In Touch Weekly that she appeared to be ‘about 25 pounds below the average weight for her height’ 

‘It’s very hard for me to go, “Okay, I’m just going to take care of myself,” because I’m so much about taking care of other people. I’m thinking, “I can create more work for people. I can create jobs for people.” And also, I love it. I have the passion. I’ve just got to take care of my body. I wish I had superpowers because I would love to be everywhere.’
