Nicole Kidman works with a female director every 18 months

She’s one of the most successful women in Hollywood.

And Nicole Kidman isn’t content with just her own success, revealing her plans to help other women succeed in the cut throat entertainment industry.

Speaking to Glamour Magazine, the 50-year-old said she now had a rule to work with a female director at least every 18 months as part of her push for gender equality.

Nicole, who is an ardent supporter of women’s rights, revealed she was driven to enforce the rule after working with a series of talented female directors.

But she was dismayed to discover that projects with female directors already attached were far and few in between.

‘And there just weren’t any women offering me things. So, when you dissect that, you realise there aren’t women offering you things because they don’t have the opportunities,’ Nicole told the magazine.
