Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley notably absent from red carpet duties… as reality star fills in

Lucia Hawley was notably absent from red carpet duties at the Transformers One premiere in Sydney on Wednesday night, days after the death of her grandmother.

The 7Bravo presenter, 26, was nowhere to be seen at the world premiere of the new Chris Hemsworth movie, after her beloved grandmother Janelle died on Sunday.

Her colleague Bella Varelis filled in for her on the night, and looked absolutely radiant in a figure-hugging black dress as she interviewed Hemsworth, 41.

The niece of Nicole Kidman has been keeping a low profile since Janelle’s tragic passing, after she was spotted looking heartbroken as she left her late grandmother’s home in Sydney just hours after her death at 84.

The daughter of former TV presenter Antonia Kidman looked solemn as she departed the property alongside her longtime boyfriend Henry Poole on Sunday.

Shielding her eyes with a pair of black-framed sunglasses, the presenter kept her head down while making her exit our the front door from the property, as the Kidman family rally together following the devastating news.

Lucia cut a casual figure in a grey knit cardigan, paired with a white T-shirt and shorts.

She was seen carrying a grey item of clothing and accessorised with a black leather crossbody bag, as well as tan-coloured sandals.

Lucia’s mother Antonia was also seen visiting her late mother Janelle’s home in Sydney on Sunday, carrying a bouquet of flowers from the property.

On Saturday, Nicole revealed that her beloved mother had sadly passed away.

The Australian actress, 57, was forced to leave Venice Film Festival to return to her native Sydney to be with her family after the devastating news.

Her mother Janelle died just hours before Nicole was awarded Best Actress for her role in Babygirl on the final day of Venice Film Festival.

‘Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, my beautiful, brave mother Janelle has just passed,’ Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn upon her win.

‘I am in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me, and she made me.’
