Up to 1,000 Liverpool fans face missing out on a dream trip to the Champions League final after three flights to Kiev were cancelled at short notice.
Worldchoice Sports, a Widnes-based company providing tickets and travel packages to sporting events, made the announcement on Thursday afternoon.
It leaves a huge number of die-hard supporters with the near impossible task of arranging travel to Ukraine with just over 48 hours until Saturday’s showpiece.
