A Nike worker who secretly recorded more than 50 men in the bathroom has been arrested two years after being fired, as the company failed to alert authorities and cops only learned about it through an unrelated investigation.
Khoi Truong, 27, is accused of filming dozens of male colleagues in the restrooms of the Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation building in Portland, Oregon, in 2017 and 2018.
The suspected voyeur was fired by Nike in 2018 after two of his alleged victims caught him recording them in the bathroom with his cell phone and reported the incidents to their supervisors.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the peeping tom actually preyed on at least 50 men while working at the sports giant.
Police said Truong was fired from Nike in 2018 after two victims caught him filming them in two separate incidents – one in November 2017 and one in April 2018.
However, the sports giant didn’t report the incidents to law enforcement and no charges were brought against him at the time, investigators said.
Detectives only learned about the alleged voyeurism during an unrelated investigation launched in 2020, the Sheriff’s Office said.
A spokesperson for Nike told DailyMail.com the company ‘terminated Mr. Truong in 2018 and cooperated with the Washington County Sheriff’s investigation.’
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office investigation uncovered at least 50 separate incidents of Truong illegally filming victims at the workplace.
The suspect allegedly used his cell phone in all the cases, with detectives saying there is no evidence to suggest he used hidden cameras.
Nike has been working with Washington County Sheriff’s Office to identify the victims in the footage and so far 23 men have been identified.

Authorities are asking anyone with information or who believes they may have been a victim to contact law enforcement.
Truong was indicted by a grand jury on August 7 on 10 counts of invasion of personal privacy in the first degree.
He was arrested Wednesday and booked into Washington County Jail.
His bail has been set at $100,000.
