So it was no surprise that Ricki-Lee Coulter nailed her rendition of Advance Australia Fair at the NRL Grand Final in Sydney on Sunday.
Unfortunately, the performance wasn’t without its flaws, as the Channel Nine misspelled the 31-year-old’s name, writing “Ricky-Lee” instead of “Ricki-Lee.”

‘The #NRLGF misspelling of Ricki-Lee’s name as ‘Ricky-Lee’ is the biggest act of treason this nation has ever faced,’ wrote one frustrated fan.
‘Poor Ricki-Lee. The on-screen credit said “Ricky-Lee Coulter,” wrote another.

Others decided to comment on everything from the star’s rendition to her choice of wardrobe.
‘Dami sung a much better national anthem at #AFLGF than Ricki-Lee at #NRLGF… AFL finally learnt and have done something better than NRL,’ spat one Twitter user.

The day before the Grand Final, Ricki expressed how excited she was about performing for Australia.
‘I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE EXCITED IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!’ she wrote on Instagram.
