Nine-year-old girl’s extravagant Christmas wish list for Santa is shared online by her brother

A trip to France, a live penguin and a brand-new laptop: Nine-year-old girl’s extravagant Christmas wish list for Santa is shared online by her brother – despite her acknowledging she ‘hasn’t been good’ this year

  • The nine-year-old admitted this year did not turn out how she hoped it would
  • She ‘miserably failed’ at being good but cut her losses with a wish list anyway
  • Addressed to ‘beloved Father Christmas’, her list was worth thousands of dollars

A nine-year-old who ‘miserably failed’ at being good this year has cut her losses and asked Santa for five tickets to France and a live penguin in an extensive Christmas wish list.

The little girl penned the letter on December 1 in Essex, southeast England, or the ‘bottom left of Earth’ as described by the child, which was then tweeted on Tuesday by her older brother.

Covered with doodles illustrating her heart’s desires and addressed to ‘beloved Father Christmas’, the girl woefully admitted that her year has been ‘quite the opposite’ to how she hoped it would be.

‘I have tried hard to be good but miserably failed,’ she wrote in cursive handwriting.

‘I’ll be honest, I do deserve coal, but please I’d love to have some presents.’

The schoolgirl then decided she would ‘actually like more than one’ gift and asked Santa Claus to tick off the products he has available from a list of 12 items, including international plane tickets to France.

Her lengthy wish list, which is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, includes popular electronics such as a PlayStation 5 and 4 and a Nintendo Switch.

She also asked for the ‘latest’ new desktop computer, a laptop, airpods, an iPhone 12 and a DJ set.

The girl asked for a living penguin and panda, and a snake. She did not specify whether the snake should be alive

Stranger requests included a panda and a penguin that she specifically asked to be alive upon arrival, along with a new pet snake.

There was no mention of what condition the snake should be in when stuffed into her stocking on Christmas Eve.

Realistic requests included hand sanitiser and The Wizards of Once book collection by Cressida Cowell.

The youngster wished Santa well in fulfilling her desires and signed off with an intergalactic description of her position within the universe – lest the North Pole resident struggle to find her.

‘Essex, capital city, Europe, bottom left of Earth, planet Earth, Milky Way, Universe, Space, Solar System,’ she wrote, before finally signing off: ‘Ho ho ho.’

‘Look at this letter my little nine-year-old sister wrote to Santa,’ her brother tweeted with laughing emojis.

The post received masses of comments, shares and likes by social media users who were impressed with the girl’s determination.

‘Damn. You should at least at the bare minimum complete half of her request. She invested a lot in making that list,’ one user laughed.

‘That’s half the Apple store! Bless her very very cute,’ someone else wrote.

‘A panda and a penguin (not dead),’ joked another.
