Fortnite star Ninja is making his love of the popular video game a permanent part of him.

The elite pro gamer recently raised more than $300,000 (£230,000) for charitable causes to get his first tattoos, according to Dexerto.

At least one of his tattoos will be none other than the Fortnite Llama that players have come to know and love.

The video gaming star has often been using his popularity on YouTube and Twitch for charity as of late, participating in recent events like the GuardianCon streamer marathon to raise funds for the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Since then, he’s once again helped to raise funding for the hospital by getting his first tattoos, the first of which will be ‘Ninja’ in Japanese and the other the Fortnite Llama.

About to get my first tatoo ever and it was for charity! Raised 320k for @StJude unfortunately I do not have the time for both the ninja in Japanese and the llama… rain check on the llama I promise! pic.twitter.com/rNGQmyha3G

For the tattoos, he enlisted the aid of celebrity tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste, notable for working with a number of Instagram, YouTube and other social media stars as well as celebrities like Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar.

The two were thought to have linked up at the recent 2018 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, California before hitting up Lacoste’s tattoo parlor.

Although he reportedly didn’t have enough time for the Llama tattoo, he vowed to get it done sometime in the near future.

Ninja and Lacoste later took to social media to proudly show off the pro gamer’s new Japanese lettering tattoo of his video gaming name.

Ninja is a professional video gamer known for being the most popular streamer currently on Twitch with more than eight million followers.

He was born as Richard Blevins on June 5, 1991 and grew up in Grayslake, Illinois.

While streaming Fortnite, Ninja broke Twitch’s individual game streaming record while playing with Drake, Travis Scott and professional American football player JuJu Schuster-Smith in March 2018, later breaking his own record just a month later in April 2018.

He also won a 100-player Pro-Am tournament at E3 2018 for charity while playing alongside celebrity partner EDM DJ Marshmello.
