Marcel wasn’t afraid of wearing his heart on his sleeve and dishing out advice to their housemates in the Love Island villa, which got him the nickname Dr. Marcel.

So it really comes as no surprise the hunky musician showed off his quirky sense of fashion in a scarlet and gold striped bomber jacket at the glitzy event.

The couple, who held hands throughout their time on the red carpet, were joined by the great and the good of the showbiz world.

Professor Green had his latest girlfriend on his arm, while Liam Gallagher rocked up to the star-studded occasion with enviable confidence.

Earlier on Wednesday, Gabby and Marcel made a televised appearance where they poked fun at the rival Love Island couple’s mock wedding.

Jess and Dom pretended to get married in a playful ceremony in their underwear during an eye-popping stint on Good Morning Britain to celebrate the season of love.

Marcel left viewers in stitches when he gave a deadpan response after being probed about whether he was going to tie the knot with Gabby soon.

The Blazin’ Squad star looked confused and asked: ‘I believe one of the other couples got married today?’

Looking disinterested, he continued: ‘Wasn’t it er…. Jess and Dom?’ As, Gabby jumped in to quip: ‘Now we need a different date!’

Social media was awash with the hilarious fallout from Marcel’s reaction as the viewers at home were quick to point out the couple were throwing shade at them.
