The post, an open invitation for fans to get their questions answered by the singer-songwriter, came as Noel reflected on his post-Oasis career under the solo moniker Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
Promptly responding to the invite, Liam replied: ‘Why you such a massive c***?’
The reply sparked an inevitable reaction from fans, with one commenting: ‘And this is why Oasis will never get back. It’s fine tho.’

Noel and Liam have been trading insults ever since Oasis split at their final concert in Paris in 2009 after a backstage bust-up.
The duo quickly went their separate ways when the band disbanded and their infamous decade-long feud has been running ever since.

Noel also went solo under the name Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, in 2011. Greatest hits album Back the Way We Came: Vol. 1 will be released in June.
