Non-binary influencer Deni Todorovic hit with a restraining order on behalf of a transgender artist

Non-binary activist Deni Todorovic has been hit with a restraining order.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal the controversial influencer was served an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police on behalf of his former partner Mitchell Latham, a Sydney-based transgender artist.

The pair announced their relationship on Instagram live during this year’s Mardi Gras festival.

But Latham, who uses the pronouns they/them, is understood to have ghosted Todorovic after the activist’s erratic behaviour on social media in recent weeks.

Melbourne-based Todorovic, 35, is due to face Newtown court in Sydney’s inner west on Monday.

Todorovic posted a worrying a series of worrying social media posts following the order being taken out, but his family reassured his followers on Friday saying: ‘He (is) safe and in good hands.’

Last month Todorovic, who uses all pronouns, shared a number photos of the couple together on Instagram.

‘We’ve made a choice to keep things off the ‘gram for as long/short and as frequently/infrequently as we so chose too,’ Todorovic told their 80K followers in April.

‘You have been some of the best 5 weeks of love, I have had the honour of experiencing in my 35 short laps around the sun.

‘Here’s to another 5 weeks, months, days, hours, years, decades, life times.’

The pair also released a ‘Trans Lives Matter’ shirt collection designed by Latham.

The AVO comes after weeks of bizarre behavior by the 35-year-old who is currently in Sydney attending Afterpay Australia Fashion week.

The prominent queer fashionista made a ‘political’ fashion statement that saw them flash their genitals to Newscorp journalists – Confidential’s Jonathan Moran and Page 13’s Alice Coster – at Australian Fashion Week on Tuesday, leaving them distressed.

‘It was a distressing situation that’s true, it was distressing because they are clearly not well and the system, I think has failed them and they need to be helped,’ Moran told 2GB host Ben Fordham.

‘They were wearing one of those man-kini type things under their pants, so you could see quite a lot – there was not a lot left to the imagination’

Just one day after the flashing scandal, Todorovic had their fashion week plans dashed after being stopped by security at Nadia Bartel’s Henne show at St Barnabas in Ultimo.

According to fashion sources, Afterpay Australian Fashion Week organisers are furious Todorovic’s antics this week have made more headlines that the showcasing designers.

Before the event had even started he had a heated hour-long run-in with airport workers in Melbourne before flying to Sydney on a Jetstar flight.

Todorovic said he had been subjected to ‘homophobic and racist’ behaviour by staff requesting that he pay $100 for excess luggage, and subsequently wrote with black marker pen, ‘Jetstar, suck my d***’, across the top of both thighs when he turned up at AAFW.

A Jetstar representative denied staff did anything wrong.

Photographs of the incident show Todorovic with his mother, along with four police officers.

The model appeared upset and rested his head on his mother’s arm. No charges were laid.

Todorovic first came to prominence when receiving a starring role as an ambassador for swimwear brand Seafolly – leading to a customer boycott in March.

But things have been coming unstuck for the influencer in a very public fashion for weeks.

Earlier this month, the model and activist began making wild accusations to close associates on social media and attacking brands that Todorovic formally worked for.

But subsequent erratic behaviour and tirades have seen the model ditched from various public roles by underwear label Bonds, youth charity Minus 18, and gin brand Tanqueray.

Friends, family and fans have expressed concern for Todorovic’s mental health over recent weeks.

They claimed to have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and have undergone treatment at Royal Melbourne Hospital.

‘I have a psychologist, a therapist, a psychiatrist, I’m going to the Banyans clinic, and they better not be any f***ing paparazzi when I get there,’ they said.
