Nowra shooting: Man dead and two others injured with stab wounds

BREAKING One person dead and two others treated for stab wounds after police shooting on NSW South Coast

  • A 27-year-old woman was found with wounds to the neck and taken to hospital 

A man has been gunned down and two other people stabbed after a shooting on the south coast of NSW.

Emergency services were called to a property near Kinghorne Street, at Nowra, at midday on Saturday.

A man was found by paramedics and declared dead at the scene.

Another person was found with stab wounds while a 27-year-old suffered wounds to the neck and was transported to Shoalhaven District Hospital. 

Nowra resident Stacey Long said she driving home when she found saw the body of a man lying in a gutter.

‘He was unconscious, face down, like he wasn’t moving,’ she told South Coast Register. 

Ms Long claimed she saw a group of police officers standing around the body with one of them holding a taser.

‘It wasn’t until I was looking at Facebook and saw that it was a shooting. I realised I had seen something full on.’
