NRL star Latrell Mitchell, 25, put his sprawling farm up sale for $1.3m after snapping up a $4.3million five-bedroom Sydney home

A spectacular property on the New South Wales mid-north coast owned by NRL champ Latrell Mitchell is now up for sale.

The 25-year-old South Sydney full back hopes to score $1.38million for the land, which he bought for $600,000 in 2020.

Located at Caffreys Flat, which is 49kms inland from Mitchell’s hometown of Taree, the impressive country retreat covers 222 hectares, 90 per cent of which is cleared for use.

Surrounded by gorgeous bushland, the farm land is set amongst rolling hills and has 14 dams.

The beautiful Nowendoc River runs through 3km of the site, which includes six different lots, divided into 16 separate paddocks, large enough to accommodate 90 head of cattle.

News.com reports that a 40ha camping site known as Knorrit Flat Riverside Retreat located at Caffreys Flat went under the hammer for $1.1million.

It comes after the Rabbitohs star’s recent big-ticket purchase in Sydney.

Mitchell splurged $4.275million on a five-bedroom cottage in Ramsgate Beach, located on Botany Bay, 18.6kms from the CDB in Sydney’s south.

Built in 2015 for $700,000, Mitchell, who shares two children with wife Brielle Mercy, announced the sale on Instagram last August.

The couple, who are based in Chiefly in a home worth $1.45million, indicated they would be moving into their new bayside digs soon after.

The chic and modern home, located close to the shoreline of Botany Bay, features irrigated lawns and gardens, a barbecue terrace and swimming pool.

There is a resort atmosphere inside, with spacious living areas and an open-plan design.

Features include soaring ceilings with skylights, and a stone kitchen with gas stove, top-of-the-range appliances and breakfast bench.

There’s also a sauna, home cinema and putting green.

The oversized bathrooms are fitted out with marble, while the master bedroom boasts a walk-in wardrobe with bespoke joinery.

Mitchell  has an impressive real estate portfolio.

Besides the Caffrey’s Flat farm, Mitchell bought a $1,815,000 property nearby for his parents Trish and Matt.
