NSW Covid cases jump to 372 new infections with just one death – two weeks after ending lockdown


New South Wales recorded 372 Covid-19 cases overnight and just one death.

The figures announced on Thursday come almost two weeks after the state was released from lockdown. 

Vaccination rates continue to rise with 82.3 per cent of the state’s population aged over-16 now fully vaccinated while 92.5per cent have had at least one jab.

Of the 524 cases in hospital, 124 are in intensive care.

NSW also recorded two overseas acquired cases from returned travellers in quarantine while 86.235 residents came forward for testing.
