  • Believed the force of the crash ejected the man from the Audi A4 he was driving

A man’s body has been found near the wreckage of a car after a crash that happened four days ago.  

The wreckage was discovered down an embankment on the Pacific Highway at Bonville on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales on Monday night.

However, police believe the crash may have occurred on Friday, November 25.

The man is yet to be identified but NSW police believe he is aged 26 and the car involved in the crash was an Audi A4.

It’s believed the force of the crash ejected the man from the vehicle as the body was found nearby. 

He was the only person in the car.

Emergency services attended the scene following reports of a passing motorist finding the wreckage down an embankment. 

A separate minor crash on the motorway led to gridlock, causing motorists to notice the vehicle.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances of the accident.
