A NSW dentist accused of sexually molesting four boys decades ago has told a jury he had never touched any child inappropriately.
The 82-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has pleaded not guilty to 26 charges, including having sexual intercourse without consent, involving boys aged between eight and 17 in the early 1980s.
Under cross-examination from crown prosecutor Roger Kimbell on Thursday, the dentist denied ever sexually touching a patient.

The Crown has alleged the dentist used hypnosis and relaxation techniques to take advantage of the boys.
As well as hearing evidence from the complainants, the jury have heard testimony from other former male patients – not the subject of the charges – relating to what the Crown has submitted was a ‘pattern of behaviour.’
The dentist told the jury in his job he would touch patients on the mouth, head and shoulders.
The only other touching was ‘some sort of reassurance to patients’ like patting them on the knee or ‘tummy’ to say something like ‘you have done well.’
Mr Kimbell has alleged the dentist took boys out of the surgery into a separate back room where there was a bed where various offences occurred.
The jury has heard evidence of his use of relaxation techniques helping HSC students.
‘In relation to the HSC, none of your dental assistants were present,’ Mr Kimbell suggested.
‘Possibly not, I don’t know,’ the dentist replied.
‘You didn’t want anyone to know what you were doing in the back room,’ the prosecutor said.
‘The wording is incorrect,’ he replied.
The trial is continuing.
