A New South Wales man has been charged after drink driving with ’30 schooners of rum’ in his system.
The 21-year-old man was stopped by police near Leeville in the state’s north on Saturday after police received complaints about a swerving car.
The Yorklea man had been driving on a provisional licence and with a child in the car, the Gympie Times reports.

The incident occurred around 3.30am, with the 21-year-old breathalysed on the scene.
Senior Constable David Henderson told News Corp the man was then taken to Casino Police Station.
‘There he told police he had drunk 30 schooners of rum and coke that night,’ he said.
Further breath tests showed the man in a ‘high drink driving category’, with the 21-year-old’s licence suspended.
The child found in a booster seat inside the car was taken home by police following the incident.
The man is set to appear in Casino Local Court in November.
