NSW police officer caught on camera telling a man to ‘get f***ed’ and giving him the middle finger

A Sydney man has recorded the shocking moment when a junior police officer gave him the middle finger and told him to ‘get f***ed.’

The junior male officer, his female colleague, and a supervising officer had been attempting to serve the man with a notice.

However, the situation escalated when the man refused to provide his identification.

‘We’ve already given you our names and where we’re from,’ the officer said. ‘Now it’s your duty to tell us your name and where you’re from.’

The man replied, ‘It’s my duty? I’m not a police officer.’

The supervising sergeant intervened, explaining that the officers couldn’t serve the documents if the man refused to identify himself.

However, the junior male officer wasn’t as willing to let it go.

‘That’s quite rude sir,’ the junior police officer told the man as his colleagues turned to leave.

‘Hey, f*** you. You showed me the finger. F*** you,’ the police officer said.

The furious officer retaliated by giving the man the middle finger.

‘Good lad, that’s professional,’ the man responds before telling the officer he was being recorded by at least three cameras on his property.

He asks for the name of his sergeant before the clip comes to an abrupt end.

Aussies were quick to share their thoughts on the interaction.

‘Oh, my goodness. What is the world coming to? At least the senior policeman had some brains,’ one woman wrote on X.

‘I truly hope that this unprofessional policeman was just a one off,’ a second said.

A third wrote: ‘Oh dear, Mr. Attitude! He can’t even follow a direction from a superior officer… He is going to do well in the force.’

It is not known when the footage was taken. NSW Police have been contacted for comment.
