Olivia Dunne flaunts her championship rings as LSU celebrate national title success

LSU Gymnastics won the national championship last year, and now Olivia Dunne and her teammates have the hardware to show for it.

The Tigers claimed their first national title in gymnastics in April as they topped California, Utah and Florida.

And with the team getting their rings this week, Dunne showed off her jewelry Friday night on her Instagram story.

A cheerful Dunne posted a picture with rings on both of her fingers, as she captioned the post ‘RING SZN’ to her 5.3million Instagram followers.

She also posted a video showing off her new custom ring, which had her last name on it as well as ‘LSU’ with the school’s purple and gold color scheme.

LSU Gymnastics’ Instagram account also posted a picture of Dunne’s teammate, Cammy Thomas, posing with a statue commemorating their national championship win.

Dunne has recently been promoting ‘The Money Game,’ an Amazon Prime Video documentary featuring her and other LSU athletes and examining the effects of NIL in college sports.

During the premiere event for the new series at the Tigers ‘ campus, Dunne and her fellow LSU stars were asked who their dream NIL partners are.

‘The Swiftie in me is saying Taylor Swift,’ Dunne answered.

Dunne has worked with Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs star Travis Kelce, as they got together for a shoot, promoting one of Dunne’s many endorsements, Accelerator Energy.

In an interview with the New York Post, Dunne opened up about her plans after she uses her final year of college eligibility this fall.

The New Jersey native noted how striking a deal with Sports Illustrated was monumental as it could give her something beyond her days in Baton Rouge.

‘I feel like [Sports Illustrated] is something that can last beyond college,’ Dunne, who debuted for the outlet in the 2023 edition shared.

‘I think that’s important, creating a substantial brand that will last post-college. And [SI Swim] is one of those, I don’t even want to call it a partnership, because they’re like family to me. That’s been amazing.’

Beyond her modeling and athletics, Dunne wants to teach the next generation of female athletes how to capitalize on their NIL.

‘Girls don’t know where to start,’ Dunne said, adding that her Livvy Fund at LSU focuses on helping female student-athletes at LSU get NIL deals.

‘Because that’s sometimes half the battle,’ she added. ‘And it’s very important to capitalize on your NIL while you’re in college if you’re a female because there’s not a lot of professional leagues after college for most women’s sports.

Dunne and LSU’s gymnastics season will begin this winter.
