LSU star gymnast and social media sensation Oliva Dunne is shifting gears ahead of their first meet this season.

On Tuesday, the typically jolly and smiling Dunne took to Instagram to show she means business ahead of her final season with the Tigers. The post comes just days before LSU host Ohio State on January 5.

Dunne posted a pair of pictures in LSU gear. The first picture is of herself applying chalk on her hands and the second of her in action on the uneven bars.

‘There is business to be stood on. #meetweekmonday,’ Dunne captioned.

But despite her incredible success as a social media influencer, Dunne appears determined to succeed in the sport that got her there in the first place.

With it being her final year in the NCAA, Dunne has one more season to capture gold before graduating this spring.

In 2021, Dunne placed second in the SEC championship before LSU went on to compete and fall short in the semifinal of NCAA Championships.

Her silver medal in the conference as a freshman was followed by a fifth place finish in 2022 and third place in 2023.

As a team, LSU fell in the second round of the regionals and placed fourth in the National Championship during those years, respectively.

Dunne is coming off a very successful year individually outside the sport. In 2023, Dunne became the highest-paid female NCAA athlete through her name, image and likeness.

Aside from making over $3.5 million through deals with American Eagle Outfitters, Body Armor and Motorola, Dunne also became a cover girl for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and was featured on Elle Magazine.

To add to an already eventful year, Dunne began dating LSU alum and MLB prospect Paul Skenes.

The No 1 overall pick in the 2023 MLB draft signed a record $9.2 million deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates in July.

After a milestone year, Dunne looks to kick 2024 off with a win and a strong finish to her senior year.

LSU is currently ranked No 3 in the nation and will host the first three of 11 meets in Baton Rouge before wrapping up January with a trip to Missouri.
