Olivia Rodrigo was left red-faced on Thursday night after a cheeky request she made of two fans at her sold-out Sydney concert hilariously backfired.
The US pop sensation, 21, was performing at Qudos Bank Arena when she asked two of her fans to kiss for the cameras.
However, she didn’t realise the pair were actually brother and sister.
‘You guys are so cute! I have a huge and fun favour to ask, would you guys give us a kiss on the Guts cam?’ Olivia asked the siblings.
The pair then told Olivia they were not a couple – but then cheekily obliged her request regardless and kissed for the cameras, leading the singer to hold up her hands in shock.
‘Oh s**t, they just did it! Never mind, scrap that! F**k, wow, that hasn’t happened before,’ an embarrassed Olivia screamed out, asking her crew to quickly cut the footage.
‘This is the first time! Wow, I feel really bad now, we are going to forget that ever happened!’ Olivia joked.
The California-born star performed the first of her four Sydney shows at the Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday and will again take the stage on October 18, 21, and 22.

They are the final stops on the Australian leg of her sold-out Guts tour.
The energetic performer has been wholeheartedly embracing all things Australian while on tour, and her fans are loving every moment of it.
Olivia has professed her love of Aussie snacks and local tourist spots and recently indulged in an iconic treat.
After sampling some Tim Tams last week, Olivia continued her culinary adventure Down Under, sharing a snap on social media of a stash of Caramello Koala chocolates.
She even brought her love of Aussie culture on stage in Melbourne, where she wore a crop top emblazoned with the words, ‘Vegemite be in love,’ in a playful nod to the nation’s most divisive spread.

Olivia has since been crowned an honorary Aussie after immersing herself in local culture since touching down.
The Vampire singer was given the plaudit during an appearance on The Project on Thursday, when she gave insight into some of her new Aussie habits.
She revealed she has indulged in her love of ‘thrift shopping’, known Down Under as ‘op shopping’, while on the Melbourne leg of her Australian Guts tour.
