Olivier Giroud has shown he is tired of talking about his lack of game time for Chelsea, after showcasing his worth in front of goal against Sevilla.
The French striker scored four times against the Spanish side to ensure Frank Lampard’s men go through to the last 16 of the Champions League as winners of Group E.
His performance earned plenty of praise from pundits and his manager, and raised questions as to why he is used so infrequently by the Blues boss.

It was only the 34-year-old’s second start of the season in all competitions, but his display suggested he clearly merits more of a look-in.
The lack of playing time has seen his national team boss Didier Deschamps suggest he needs to move in January to secure more playing time ahead of Euro 2020 to ensure his spot in the France squad.
But asked once again about the possibility of more playing time against Leeds this weekend, and a first Premier League start of the season, Giroud responded: ‘Just let me enjoy the night and the great win.
‘After, we will rest and we’ll see what the gaffer’s plan is.’
His performance drew praise from Lampard after the game in Spain, with Lampard commenting on just how difficult it is to score four times in the same match,

There was praise, too from former team-mates with both Cesc Fabregas and Mesut Ozil jumping on Twitter to sing the Frenchman’s praises.
‘What a night for this guy,’ read Ozil’s post, along with a GIF of the pair smiling at each other from their Arsenal days.
Meanwhile, Fabregas wrote: ‘What a real pro you are mate. All young players should have you as a role model.
‘Well done once again. And people still wonder why you always end up playing!! Hard work, passion, dedication and real character to always turn things around.’
