The former White House aide told the host: ‘We were talking about immigration and round ups and particularly about a family of a man who had been in the country and was sent back.
‘I believe that the immigration debate will continue. Its a very difficult and complicated subject. I don’t believe it can be resolved so simply,’ Manigault said.
Colbert continued to push Manigault on what ‘was not going to be okay’ and whether she was specifically referring to ‘DACA kids’ or ‘immigrants’.
Manigault then responded with: ‘We have an opportunity to make it okay. I don’t want 15 seconds on a reality show to encapsulate such a serious subject.’
‘I’ll ask you again,’ the host replied. ‘Is everything going to be okay under Donald Trump?’
‘We’ll have to wait and see,’ answered Manigault.

Omarosa announced she was leaving the White House in December. She officially left the Trump administration on the anniversary of Trump’s inauguration.
Earlier this month, a White House spokesman for Trump claimed that Omarosa has been fired from her post as communications director for the administration’s Office of Public Liaison.
Following her ousting, Omarosa went back to reality TV and joined the cast of Celebrity Big Brother in February.
For the last few weeks, the former aide has discussed her time in the White House on the reality show and just three days ago she said: ‘I’m emancipated. I feel like I just got freed off a plantation. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.’
