  • Her partner had eaten a handful of peanut hours before they got intimate
  • She is anaphylactic to peanuts but didn’t know she could react through a partner

An OnlyFans star has revealed how her date’s penchant for peanuts left her with a very painful ‘sexually transmitted’ allergic reaction.

Ashley Banks, who makes $60,000-per-month on the platform, explained that she is allergic to peanuts but had no idea she could get a second-hand reaction.

The woman was left ‘waddling into the chemist’ when she began reacting after intimacy with her partner.

‘He had eaten peanuts earlier that day, and it transferred to me. I didn’t realise at the time that this was possible,’ she said.

The phenomenon is so rare that even pharmacy staff ‘laughed’ when she went to get antihistamines to combat the reaction.

‘She called over a few colleagues and tried to ask for their opinions and help, but she couldn’t stop laughing,’ she said.

Now she is sharing the story, despite her embarrassment, to warn others to talk about their severe allergies with potential lovers.

What is a seminal fluid allergy?

Allergic reactions to semen are extremely rare.

Proteins in the fluid, not the sperm, cause most of these reactions. It is also possible for semen (and saliva) to contain traces of foods or medications that are allergens.

A semen allergy can cause:

Itching and burning within 30 minutes of sex

Hives or swelling

Asthma symptoms

Anaphylaxis

‘I had never heard of food allergens transmitting and negatively affecting partners through ejaculation before,’ she said.

‘Those with minor or moderate allergies most likely won’t notice anything, but if you have a severe anaphylactic reactions to certain foods, then I would take special precautions with your partner to make sure they haven’t eaten anything that could trigger a negative, and possibly serious, response,’ she added.

In 2007 a leading scientific journal on allergies spoke about the relationship between diet and allergic responses in a sexual partner.

The paper explored a case where a woman had a severe allergy during sex, three hours after he had eaten Brazil nuts, to which she was severely allergic.

The 20-year-old woman’s boyfriend was aware of her allergy and had taken the usual steps to protect her after consuming four of five of the nuts in a trail mix.

‘He had bathed, brushed his teeth and cleaned his nails immediately before intercourse,’ the journal explained.

But the woman still suffered, experiencing ‘significant itching and swelling of her vagina and vulva and felt faint even when sitting’

She didn’t choke or wheeze but did feel short of breath. These symptoms eased after taking an antihistamine but she was left feeling very fatigued the following day.

Ms Banks made a TikTok video explaining the incident, which was seen by over four-million people before being taken down by the platform.

Ms Banks has on OnlyFans since 2019 after deciding to break-up with her previous career and her husband and ‘start fresh’.

‘The pandemic ushered in a virtual world that more of us are living in every day, whether out of necessity, entertainment, or the thrill of meeting new people and creating an exciting online experience.

‘For me, it’s about freedom: having the time to be there for my family and being able to buy a home, necessities and fun stuff for my kids without worrying about how much money is in the bank.

‘There are pros and cons to every career, but at this point in my life, this is what’s most important to me… and I’m loving every minute of it,’ she said.
