Oprah Winfrey to tipped to bring her 2020 Vision wellness world tour to Australia.

According to The Morning Show on Monday, the 65-year-old philanthropist and talk show host is expected to announce dates Down Under very soon. 

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford claimed that ‘tickets will not be cheap’ and Oprah will have a ‘special guest’ on stage with her every night, to inspire attendees.

Discussing Oprah’s world tour, Peter said: ‘I’m told that in a short space of time, the announcement will be made that she’s bringing the tour to Australia later in the year.

‘Of course, we’ve seen Oprah visit Australia in the past, when she did her talk show here [in 2011] to massive crowds [outside of the Opera House].’ 

At present, Oprah has only announced the American dates of her 2020 Vision world tour, which she is currently in the middle of performing.

At each show she welcomes one celebrity guest on stage with her for an interview.

Guests for the American dates include Lady Gaga, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Gayle King. 

Earlier this month, Oprah discussed her world tour, in association with WW, the new Weight Watchers, before the first date at Fort. Lauderdale, Florida on January 6.

In a post on Oprah Mag, she wrote: ‘I’m going on a cross-country arena tour!

‘My hope is to make 2020 the year of transformation for you—mind, body and spirit. That’s why we’re calling the tour Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus. 

‘With WW as my tour partner, each stop is going to feature a different lineup of celebrity guests, powerhouse leaders in wellness, and people from all walks of life who took charge and created lasting change.

‘Say goodbye to procrastination, denial, feeling stuck and wishing for a better life. This is going to be a day-long party for everyone, celebrating all that you are—and all that you’re meant to be.’
