Osher Günsberg puts on a brave face as he makes his first public appearance following Channel 10 axing The Masked Singer and The Bachelor

Osher Gunsberg made his first public appearance on Wednesday night following Channel 10 axing The Masked Singer and The Bachelor.

The TV star, who acted as host of both franchises, put on a brave face as he attended the opening night of Death of a Salesman at the Theatre Royal in Sydney alongside his supportive wife Audrey Griffen.

Osher, 50, opted for a laid-back ensemble, donning a navy denim jacket casually thrown over a purple top.

He paired the look with black pants and matching shoes.

Meanwhile, Audrey turned heads in a chic low cut top paired with a stylish overcoat and jeans.

She completed her look with a trendy black handbag and a pair of strappy heels.

It comes after Günsberg addressed the cancelation of both shows on his podcast, Better Than Yesterday.

‘It’s show business, not show friends… The Bachelor and The Masked Singer in Australia are not coming back on the network that they have been on this year,’ he began.

‘This week is really very funny for me because it’s not the first time that I’ve lost two jobs in the same day. To go back to Australian Idol, when that got cancelled, I was absolutely broken,’ he explained.

According to TV Tonight, Warner Bros TV have quietly been ‘gauging interest from rival networks’ for The Masked Singer.

The singing guessing game is understood to be expensive to produce due to the elaborate costumes, high production quality and international talent required to put on the show.

This, coupled with a tough advertising market, has reportedly brought the viability of the franchise into question for Ten.
