A teenager on his P-plates has appeared in court for a series of driving offences after he was allegedly caught by police doing burnouts outside Sydney Motorsport Park.
Jacob Smith is believed to have done the burnouts outside the Eastern Creek track in his Toyota Carolla with up to four people hanging off the side, 9 News reports.
The 18-year-old fled from officers who were called to the out-of-control meet for car enthusiasts.

He is believed to have done the burnouts outside the Eastern Creek track in his Toyota Carolla with up to four people hanging off the side
Police say he reversed before running from his car when the highway patrol arrived to the scene overrun with people, smoke and burning tyres.
Two hours later he turned himself in and Blacktown Police Station.
Inspector Phil Brooks is appreciative of anyone who uploads the footage online.

‘People won’t accept this kind of behaviour, they’ll record that footage and send it to us in the hope we can prosecute those people and put them off our roads,’ he said.
Smith is yet to enter a plea however has been banned from driving and his car was confiscated until his case his heard in October.
He is facing dangerous driving and aggravated burnout charges while completing a traffic offenders program.
