The Green Bay Packers have suspended wide receiver Romeo Doubs for their game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
However, GM Brian Gutekunst has said in a statement that he will rejoin the team next week.
It read: ‘Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week’s game.
‘His decisions and actions during the week negatively impacted the team and required us to take this action.
‘While we are certainly disappointed, we are confident that we will be able to move forward in a positive manner. Romeo is a valuable member of our team and we look forward to welcoming him back next week.’

The Packers were forced to check on Doubs at his home this week after he skipped practice twice, according to reports.
Doubs is in his third season with Green Bay after being selected by the team in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Yet according to Sports Illustrated, the 24-year-old sparked fears this week when he skipped practice on Thursday and Friday because he was ‘upset with his opportunities in the passing game.’
Packers officials are said to have travelled to the player’s home to check in on him after they were left ‘worried about his well-being’ when he failed to show up at their practice facility.
Doubs, who took part in Wednesday’s session, is now a doubt for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams after not training with his teammates on Thursday and Friday.
His rumored unhappiness with his offensive role is puzzling given he currently ranks third on the team with 20 targets, only two behind Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks.
The former Nevada star had 13 targets in their recent defeat to the Minnesota Vikings, the joint-highest of the Jordan Love era.
Last season Doubs had a team-high of 96 catches, which was two more than Reed and well ahead of Wicks (58).
Despite his frustrations, he recently gushed over the team’s closeness behind the scenes and how they don’t allow anyone to get ahead of themselves.

‘Just being there for each other,’ Doubs said in training camp when asked how they maintain an all-for-one, one-for-all mindset.
‘The answer’s real simple. If anybody’s ego gets in the way, we know better. That’s just not how the game is.
‘You stay poised and keep each other up and play ball how we’re supposed to.’
