Padma Lakshmi keeps warm in a long black puffer coat and leggings after leaving the gym in New York City

Padma Lakshmi looked cozy and comfortable in an oversized puffer jacket with a fur-lined hood while leaving Equinox in New York’s SoHo neighborhood on Tuesday.

Following a grueling workout at the luxury gym, the 52-year-old Top Chef host made sure to bundle up in a pair of black leggings and sneakers as she braved the rain.

After working up a sweat, the best-selling cookbook author was seen walking back to her car with her brunette locks styled back in a low ponytail.

During her outing, she carried a water bottle and her essentials in a small black handbag.

Lakshmi, who shares a 12-year-old daughter named Krishna with ex-boyfriend Adam Dell, previously revealed she maintains her toned figure by jumping rope, weight lifting three times a week, and P.volve.

‘I started going to Pilates a few years ago, because my chiropractor recommended it for my back,’ she told Women’s Health last year.

Lakshmi added: ‘And at the end of the day it’s just about feeling comfortable. I’m done trying to squeeze my bum into something that is too small. I don’t care. You know, it shouldn’t be about what I look like at this point in my career.’

At the time, Lakshmi also noted that she no longer wears shapewear, like Spanx.

Of when she last wore ‘very constricting’ shapewear, Lakshmi stated that she was ‘pregnant or after I just had the baby.’
