Daring to impress, the Top Chef host turned heads in a green tailored jacket that featured white peacocks on the lapels.

Underneath lay a white crimped cotton shirt with a band of ruffles surrounding her lithe waist.

Her gorgeous gams were thrust on center stage as the tight blue denim leggings were form fitting.

Padma has a seven-year-old daughter called Krishna by venture capitalist Adam Dell, whose brother Michael founded the famous Dell computer brand.

In her 2016 memoir Love, Loss And What We Ate, Padma revealed that when she first learned she was pregnant she was unsure of her baby’s paternity, as she had been dating billionaire Teddy Forstmann at the same time as Adam.

Before having her daughter, Padma was married from 2004 to 2007 to Salman Rushdie, who had left his previous wife for her.

Padma, who is 23 years younger than Salman, is his fourth and still most recent ex-wife. She herself has only been married once.

She was candid about the marriage in Love, Loss And What We Ate, writing that she could not have sex with him on their second wedding anniversary because she was suffering pain from what she later discovered was endometriosis.

Seeing her ‘doubled over’ from the agony: ‘”Of course,” he said. “How convenient for you. It’s not your period and it’s not ovulation. What is it this time?”‘

Padma maintained: ‘This didn’t sound quite as cruel at the time as it seems now on the page. For years I had tried hard to hide my pain from others, even from him, and to dull my symptoms through denial and keeping busy.’

In his memoir Joseph Anton, Salman gave as good as he got, accusing Padma of ‘majestic narcissism’ and claiming that ‘She was ambitious in a way that often obliterated feeling.’
