Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish delivers on promise to ‘Palace’s oldest fan ever’ as Nan Pam helps launch 2021-22 home shirt on her 101st birthday… with Eagles last team to reveal jersey (just 11 DAYS before new season gets started!)
- A Palace fan asked if his Nan – the ‘oldest fan ever’ – could receive the new kit
- And chairman Steve Parish duly obliged to the Tweet after it ‘made his week’
- The Eagles were the last team in the Premier League to reveal this season’s kit
- And Nan Pam has helped launch it, just 10 days before the new campaign starts
Crystal Palace’s ‘oldest fan ever’ has got more than she bargained for, as the 101-year-old helped launch the club’s new kit just 11 days before the new season starts.
A Palace fan reached out on twitter to get his grandma a Crystal Palace shirt for her 101st birthday, and Parish responded by promising that she’ll get this season’s new kit.
Not only did she get the kit, but she starred in Crystal Palace’s launch video!
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish delivered on his promise to send Nan Pam the latest kit for the new season, and thrown in the bonus of including her in the kit launch video.
The Eagles were the last Premier League side to launch their kit for the new season ahead of their first game against Chelsea next Saturday, and their launch video featured the likes of Luka Milivojević, new signing Marc Guehi and, of course, Nan Pam.
The Palace fan initially tweeted a video last week with Nan Pam saying ‘Crystal Palace forever’ on her 101st birthday.
That caught the attention of Parish later that day, promising to send her the new shirt. But the kit launch not only shows her in the new shirt, but she was at Selhurst Park for the shoot too.
