Pamela Anderson says she felt ‘run over’ after learning of the Pam & Tommy Hulu miniseries

Pamela Anderson delved more into her distaste for Hulu’s Pam & Tommy miniseries in a new interview with Howard Stern from Wednesday.

The 55-year-old actress — who said she has not watched the show and does not have plans to — admitted that she felt ‘run over’ after she allegedly learned of the show via an ad.

The Baywatch star — who claims that Sylvester Stallone once offered her a ‘condo and a Porsche to be his number one girl’ in her new Netflix documentary — claimed to Stern that she had never been contacted about the series, which dramatizes the creation and subsequent theft of her infamous sex tape with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

Even worse, she told Stern that — based on what friends told her — she didn’t belief the performances from Lily James or Sebastian Stan were particularly accurate.

Blindsided: Pamela Anderson, 55, told Howard Stern on Wednesday that no on from the Pam & Tommy Hulu miniseries contacted her about the show, which made her feel ‘run over’ when she learned of it from an ad

She said: ‘I remember seeing this advert for Pam & Tommy and was like, what? No one called me, I’m still alive, no one asked me, it’s nothing to do with me.

‘I felt kinda run over by that one. I don’t think they portrayed Tommy or I very accurately. I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard from people that it’s a very shallow representation of us. I wish they would’ve called.

Stern asked her if she had ever considered contacting the production, or possibly actor and producer Seth Rogen, whom he described as ‘reasonable,’ but she said she hadn’t contacted anyone.

But even if she had gotten in touch, she doubted she would have wanted to revisit such a painful time in her life.

‘I don’t think I would have wanted to be involved, especially with that subject matter,’ she added. ‘Why? Why bring it all up again?’

Earlier in the interview, Stern agreed with Anderson’s opinion in the documentary that the release of the sex tape had harmed her career, even though it may have been a boost for her rocker husband.

James and Stan star in Pam & Tommy as the eponymous couple at the height of their romance, when Pamela was a Baywatch star and Tommy was the drummer for Mötley Crüe.

It shows the couple as they film their infamous sex tape, which is then stolen by a disgruntled electrician (Rogen) after Tommy refuses to pay him for work done on the couple’s house, before he sells the tape and allows it to forever become a part of pop culture.

After the final episode aired in March 2022, the series received critical acclaim, along with garnering a total of ten Primetime Emmy nominations and four Golden Globe nominations.

Anderson also opened up about her current contact with ex Tommy Lee, 60, to whom she was married from 1995–1998.

She said: ‘Just a text here and there, nothing too crazy. He’s married and happy and she’s good to him and I want to support that.’

The Mötley Crüe rocker wed fourth wife Brittany Furlan, 36, in 2019.

She added: ‘I hate to be annoying and go through that again and I’m sure she’s annoyed, but respect their relationship and I’m glad he’s happy and has someone in his life.

‘They see each other all the time. This movie is like a love letter to their parents, they know they came from real love and they get to see the real story,’ she said of her children.

‘The sex tape took its toll on the relationship, it took its toll on my career and people are still capitalizing off that.’

Too painful: Anderson doubted she would have wanted to revisit such a painful time in her life. 'I don't think I would have wanted to be involved, especially with that subject matter,' she added. 'Why? Why bring it all up again?'

The blonde bombshell’s forthcoming documentary follows her rise to fame, relationships and the sex scandal ‘in her own words,’ according to a Netflix synopsis.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Pamela explained in the film that she had ‘nightmares,’ when her sons Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25, had informed her that a series was being made based on her and ex-husband Tommy Lee’s ‘stolen tape.’

The star further admitted, ‘I have no desire to watch it. I never watched the tape, I’m never going to watch this.’

The ‘home videos’ had been stolen from a safe located in Pamela and Tommy’s garage during their marriage, and put together to create the infamous ‘sex tape,’ that caused a media frenzy.

The New York Post reports that Pamela delves into her connection to another famous man — Sylvester Stallone — in her documentary, claiming: ‘He offered me a condo and a Porsche to be his No. 1 girl.’

‘And I was like, “Does that mean there’s No. 2? Uh-uh.”‘.

She claims Stallone retorted: ‘That’s the best offer you’re gonna get, honey. You’re in Hollywood now.’

She added: ‘I wanted to be in love. I didn’t want anything less than that.’

It is not clear when the alleged incident took place. She shot to fame on Baywatch in 1992 and she and Stallone appeared to happily pose up together at an event in 2007.
