It’s wine o’clock for The Rum Diary actress Amber Heard, 31, newly single following her split from tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Two months after her year-long relationship with Musk ended, Amber enjoyed what appeared to be a large glass of red wine during a hair and make-up session.
She showed Musk what he’s missing with a photo of herself kicking her toned legs up in the air, clad in hotpants and black stilettos. ‘The ultimate glam squad,’ she wrote. Earlier, Amber was spotted at LAX airport in an all-black ensemble and snakeskin boots.

One fan commented there is ‘too much wine’ in Amber’s photos — but it’s nothing compared to ex-husband Johnny Depp. His financial adviser revealed the actor spent £24,000-a-month on wine for ‘personal consumption’.
Man Booker prize-winning novelist Alan Hollinghurst, who took ecstasy for the first time at 40, admits the drug inspired some of his creativity. ‘I’m sorry to say my dancing days seem to be over, but I had huge pleasure from them at the time,’ explains Alan, 63. ‘In terms of creativity, I think there were benefits of insight and empathy, and downsides in that it was increasingly hard to write anything for days after a big night out.’
Once Hollywood’s hottest stars, Oscar winners Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino cut very different figures in Los Angeles this week
Once Hollywood’s hottest stars, Oscar winners Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino cut very different figures in Los Angeles this week.
Nicholson, 80, was at a memorial dinner for the actor Harry Dean Stanton, who died two weeks ago aged 91.
Wearing a T-shirt bearing a picture of his pal, the Shining star was joined by Pacino, 77, in a green shirt and dark-grey baseball cap.
Pacino worked with Stanton in The Godfather: Part II; Nicholson co-starred with him in Man Trouble.
Her looks are all natural, but cooking goddess Mary Berry, 82, admits to being fascinated by plastic surgery. ‘I’m always interested to see what other people have had done. My assistant and I gossip about it.’ However, the ex-Bake Off judge adds: ‘I’ve never been tempted by Botox and I’m quite happy with what I’ve got — you can’t roll back the years! I have things like cataracts sorted out, but why would I want to do anything else?’

Now Nicky’s younger brother Barron, 27, is set to follow her down the aisle and has got engaged to New York socialite Tessa Grafin von Walderdorff.
‘Better than a fairytale . . . engaged to my best friend, my soulmate, the love of my life. Forever and for always,’ Tessa, 23, captions this snap online, in which she cups her fiance’s face and reveals the top of her thigh in a lavender dress.
Barron’s party-loving sister Paris, 36, remains unmarried.

Star Wars actor Ian McDiarmid once said that he didn’t care for the idea of any other actor taking over the role of evil Emperor Palpatine.
However, the 73-year-old, who opens this week as Enoch Powell in the play What Shadows at the Park Theatre in London, is more relaxed about being exhumed after his death. That’s what the special-effects boffins controversially managed to do for fellow Star Wars actor Peter Cushing.
Ian tells me: ‘I am enough of a professional to insist on at least being alive when I play a role but, after I die, I will be past caring.’
How does ageing rocker Sir Paul McCartney protect his voice after all these years?
He told a fan the steamy secret. ‘I have a couple of things I do before I go on stage, and I don’t even know if they work,’ said the former Beatle. ‘But I do like — over a bowl of hot water — a steaming before I go on, which I was told was probably the best thing to clear your larynx.
‘It’s become part of my ritual and then I have a salt-water gargle.’
How rock ’n’ roll.
