Parents claim a ghost pushed their son over in haunted house

A terrified mother believes her home is so haunted she fears for her son’s safety, after footage captured a ‘ghost push over her baby’.

Ashley Scott, from Elizabethton, Tennessee, was at the grocery store when her partner Chris Geisler, 38, sent her the eerie clip after noticing their baby ‘fell’ in an unusual way, on 1st October.

The footage, filmed on the couple’s home security camera, shows one-year-old Gavin crawling into his parent’s bedroom where his dad Chris was sitting watching TV.

Gavin can be seen stopping, on all fours, to look at his dad for a couple of seconds before suddenly jolting forward as if pushed from behind and almost face-planting the floor.

Ashley Scott, 34, is concerned about the safety of her one-year-old son Gavin (both pictured) after he was mysteriously ‘pushed’ over in their home

The stunned baby then turns around as if to look at whatever ‘pushed’ him, to see nothing there.

Ashley, 34, who says she has had other paranormal experiences in the home, believes a ghost was responsible for the ‘violent’ shove and now fears what other ‘forces’ may do next.

Ashley recalled said: ‘I was actually grocery shopping down the road and Chris sent me a video because it really freaked him out.

‘He was just baffled by what he saw and said “what do you think of this?” and I was just freaked out, I didn’t know what to really think.’

Chris, who saw the mysterious event happen, watched the footage back because he was so confused and didn’t know if Gavin had maybe just stumbled.

However, the parents found the footage disturbing and odd, Ashley said she’d ‘never seen a child fall like that.’

She explained: ‘He was on all fours, on his hands and knees – I don’t think he lost his balance or anything, he’s a very strong baby.

‘He looks behind like “what was that?” – he noticed something like something was there.

‘You don’t just look back like that naturally unless you expect something to be there.’

Ashley and Chris are adamant that something pushed their son.

She said: ‘I hope nothing like that is going on or hurting him but it sort of seems that way.’

The stay-at-home mother says she has always been a believer in the paranormal and has had numerous mysterious experiences throughout her life.

This belief stems from ‘seeing a ghost in her bedroom’ as a child, which she says scared her but seemed harmless.

Ashley said: ‘I’ve had things when I was younger, when I was a little girl – I remember seeing a little boy in my bedroom.

‘Me and my sister shared a room when I was younger and the first thing I ever experienced, I was sleeping in my room and I woke up and saw a little boy.

‘He was just standing there next to my sister’s bed and it really freaked me out.

‘I’ve never really seen anything else since then until moving into the condo.’

She believes that her home is haunted as she cannot explain many odd things that happen in their apartment.

Before the event with Gavin, the couple shrugged off unusual happenings in their home as they never seemed to do them any harm.

The couple have been living in their apartment together for three years and claim to have experienced multiple inexplicable things that they believe to be paranormal activity.

They say they have lived harmoniously with whatever otherworldly being is responsible for the unusual activity until this point, as nothing ‘violent’ had ever occurred.

But now that little Gavin has been ‘pushed’, the parents fear for his safety at the hands of ‘other forces’ and say they may be forced to move if anything else happens.

Ashley said: ‘We’ve experienced a few odd things in the home like noises and things like crashing and we can’t explain what the crash was.

‘About two years ago it sounded like the pots and pans crashing across the other end of the apartment and we went to look for what it might have been and we just couldn’t find anything.

‘The pots were fine, nothing had crashed, but the sound – you can’t mistake that. Something did it, we just can’t find out what did it.’

The couple shrugged this off but now Ashley is concerned about Gavin and says that she is on the edge.

‘I’m a stay at home mom and I’m always around Gavin so he’s always protected as much as I can protect him but it scares me because you don’t know what any other force might be able to do.’
