Young parents made a terrifying discovery when they found a huge black spider in a bunch of grapes their daughter was eating.
The six-year-old girl was snacking on the bunch of green grapes moments before her step-father spotted the creepy crawly.
Matt Honnor was preparing school lunches when he found the spider tucked in the middle of the grapes, according to The West.

‘It was horrible. What if she had swallowed it? I mean I didn’t know what type of spider it was and I wasn’t prepared to find out,’ he said.
‘I just kept thinking, what if it was a redback?’
The video shows green grapes, but on closer inspection, there is a spider – believed to be a common house spider – hidden in a cobweb in the heart of the fruit bunch.
The Perth family returned the bunch of grapes to the IGA store they bought them from.
The young girl’s mother, Anna-Lisa Elliott, said the store told her they did not wash fruit before putting it on shelves.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted IGA’s distributor, MetCash, for comment.
