Parents outraged as Aussie mums Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts attend Balenciaga Paris Fashion Week show after child abuse scandal: ‘As mothers they should be ashamed’

Aussie mums Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts have been called out for attending the Balenciaga Paris Fashion Week show following the brand’s child abuse scandal.

The glamorous actresses both showed off their impeccable fashion sense as they arrived to the event on Wednesday.

But many parents expressed their outrage at the famous duo for attending a fashion show by the controversial brand.

‘I simply cannot believe that anyone, particularly a parent, would associate with this brand. Much less GIVE them positive publicity and support,’ one person wrote.

‘Such poor taste to associate with this brand,’ another commented.

‘Eww. Balenciaga are Not Like Us,’ a third agreed while one said: ‘Supporting [this] brand. How predictable.’

Nicole, 57, showed off her statuesque physique at the event in a figure-hugging black dress encrusted in sparkly beads.

She boosted her 5ft11in frame with a pair of black high heels and was joined by her daughter Sunday Rose, 15, her eldest daughter with husband Keith Urban.

While her BFF Naomi, 55, looked every inch the movie star in a white blazer with a structured collar, allowing a sultry peek at her décolletage.

The Impossible star added a matching pencil skirt and dangling pearl earrings, elevating the chic look with white gloves.

She styled her short blonde hair in elegant curls and sported oversized shades and a slick of pink lipstick.
