Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are back! Iconic duo reunite to film The Simple Life reboot at Sonic Drive-In… 17 years after original series ended

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie got to work filming their The Simple Life reboot series this week at a Sonic Drive-In in California.

The 43-year-old heiress and 45-year-old fresh face of Estee Lauder showed off their long legs in blue T-shirts and matching aprons, which they wore over their street clothes.

Paris wore a Sonic visor over her cascading tresses, adding a pair of sporty, rimless sunglasses.

Richie arrived to set in a chic, sleeveless, jewel-tone brown mini dress with her blonde hair slicked into a neat bun.

She rounded out the look with pointy-toe, white, slingback heels.

Hilton strutted through the drive-thru fast food restaurant lot in a pair of silver stone-covered heels with rounded toes.

She carried a personalized heart-shaped denim purse with her name embellished across it in capital letters.

The mogul, who has a deal with Razr phones, subtly plugged the brand by sticking a hot pink mobile device in the pocket of her apron.

Always true to her playful and light-hearted sense of humor, at one point Nicole slipped into a hotdog costume.

The two women, who have been close friends since childhood, were spotted interacting with a customer who pulled up to the restaurant in a grau SUV.

In July Paris appeared on social media to tease the upcoming series, which celebrates the 20-year anniversary of the comedic reality series.

‘Hey guys, just got home from shooting with Nicole,’ Paris said in a video shared on Instagram.

‘As some of you may know, we are doing a reunion special to celebrate 20 years of our show,’ she said at the start of the clip.

‘It’s been so much fun and we’re planning something very, very special and I thought the best place to find the people that I would want to be a part of this is here,’ she continued as she engaged with her millions of followers.

Paris went on to invite fans to share what they loved about the original TV show, highlighting their favorite episodes and scenes.

She encouraged her viewers, ‘We love watching your TikToks and when you guys use the different sounds from the show and dressing up as us on Halloween.’

‘That show was so special. The best memories ever. It’s such a huge part of our life and we love our fans so much so we wanted you guys to be a part of this,’ the mother-of-two gushed.

Hilton wrapped up  by exclaiming, ‘I’m so excited to be doing this with Nicole on Peacock,’ she said, noting that the streaming service is also home to her series Paris in Love.

‘Nicole has been my best friend since we’re 2 years old, every memory that I have is with her.’

The show ran from 2003 to 2007.

‘Simple Life is such a special show,’ she reiterated, adding, ‘and this is just going to be so iconic and I can’t wait for fans to see.’
