She may have caused a media firestorm, but Paris Jackson’s Australia visit is also making waves in the fashion world.
The $600 Morrison dress Paris wore to the Melbourne Cup last week has already sold out – before even being offered in stores.
Founder Kylie Radford revealed that she has received pre-orders from all over the world for the rusty red bohemian dress beloved by the model.

Radford found new customers from the likes of Spain, UAE, the US, and Iceland after a highly publicised appearance by the 19-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson.
It is rumoured that Paris was paid a whopping $100,000 by Myer as the retail giant’s international VIP guest for the Melbourne Cup last Tuesday.
But the outspoken activist was not one for tight fancy dresses and sky high fascinators, instead choosing Morrison’s flowing dress and wearing her own boots.
‘It was the most like me out of the options I was given,’ Paris told ELLE after the race.

Paris revealed that the dress was in one of her favourite colours and that she loved how comfortable and soft it felt
‘It’s one of my favourite colours, it’s comfortable, it’s soft and I don’t feel like I want to die in it.’
And clearly the rest of the world agrees. Radford revealed that social media has gone mad for the dress and she is doing all she can to keep up with the demand.
‘We are running around like crazy at the moment trying to secure more velvet so that we can make more,’ she told Perth Now.
The Western Australian brand only found out Paris was wearing the soft velvet and lace dress the very day of the Cup.

‘Stylist Trevor Stones said she was a dream, with the fitting only taking a few minutes. She looked incredible and the dress fit her like a glove,’ Radford said.
But the dress did kick up a media firestorm after rumour spread the model was due to wear a custom dress made by fellow Australian designer Alex Perry.
Sources had reported that Paris wasn’t a fan of the dress and opted for the Morrison creation instead.

Paris’s representative has since vehemently denied the claims to Daily Mail Australia, saying no such dress was ever made for the teen.
‘This isn’t true. Paris couldn’t have refused to wear a custom-made Alex Perry design to the Melbourne Cup, as no such dress was ever made. Paris did wear a piece from Alex’s collection on the cover of Stellar Magazine,’ they said in a statement.
It was also reported that Paris had wanted to pair her bohemian dress with cowboy boots, but was told she needed to dress up more.
So Paris sported her own heeled ankle boots as well as a quartz headpiece created by Anne Shoebridge.
